Originally one of a pair of 19th century barns, where the cattle were kept, Sauvignon Cottage was converted by the previous owner into a two bedroomed holiday cottage and then completely refurbished by us. The cottage is built in reverse formation, with the entrance on the upper floor.

Upstairs is an attractive open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. The building conversion has kept the high ceiling beams as a feature. The living space enjoys lots of natural light, both from the wall windows and also the Velux roof windows on the southern side.

Downstairs you have a small double bedroom and a single bedroom. Both of these rooms have deep window recesses in the thick outer walls. There is also a modern WC/Shower room..

Outside the cottages is a Courtyard parking area and beyond that a large enclosed orchard garden area. This cottage and its neighbour ‘Cabernet’ have a separate entrance from the road to that used by the farmhouse and vineyard, which allows greater privacy and access at all times.
