The Vineyard
Our 6 acre vineyard lies in central West Devon, nestling in a delightful vale, a few miles from Okehampton.
From the top of the vineyard the highest point of Dartmoor National Park is just visible
behind Heath Moor ridge, which gives all important shelter to the local area.
English Sparkling Wine
Our sparkling wines are made using the traditional method, as used in Champagne wineries, with a second fermentation in the bottle. After ageing on the lees,
they are then hand riddled and disgorged. We are one of only a few wineries who do this manually and every stage is carried out by us on-site.
The Grapes
Our grape vines were carefully chosen to suit the climate and for the production of English quality sparkling wine, as well as a range of
white and rosé wines. Because the grapes are grown in this country, we can call our wine English, as distinct from British wine. Our wines have won awards every
year to date in the UK Vineyards competition. Please see the Online Shop page for details of our range.
Award Winning Tours
Our guided tours, with wine tasting, have won acclaim from Visit Devon and TripAdvisor. We welcome both individuals and groups. Why not come and find out for yourself
the story behind every bottle of Eastcott Wine?
